Amazon Excursions, Tours and Guides listing
Various operators offer
packaged excursions, which cover a specific
area or route and may involve a drive, a cruise, canoeing, a trek, a
stay at a lodge, camping, or any combination of these to provide you
with a mini-expedition. Quality is reported to be variable, and
obviously heavily dependent on your guide(s) for the duration of
your trip. We list here the best known of the operators, but
you´ll find others locally. There are undoubtedly some operators out
there that are just not good, and you will find references to these
cropping up on the internet from time to time and place to place.
Under no circumstances should you sign up for
anything from a tout at the airport. They are not supposed to
be selling you anything at the airport, and even if you encounter
something of interest, just take the details and visit their office
later.

relatively pristine due to inaccessibility.
